Experience and Values
Julie Kim, the owner and head seamstress of this establishment, studied fashion in South Korea and began tailoring wedding dresses, suits, and all other clothing since 1999. Throughout the many years, she has learned how attentiveness towards her work as well as her customers is very precious. In March 2017, Julie opened J Alterations to realize her dream of opening her own store so that she could better implement her values of how a tailor shop should be run. Currently, Julie continues to pursue her dream of providing better services and expanding her business to bring comfort, quality, and satisfaction to her customers.
Julie aspires to make your clothes look amazing on you. It always makes her day when her customers acknowledge that their clothes are in very capable hands.
